History

My name is David Tipps and I’m the creator of American Flight Visions. I thank you for taking your time to visit my web site, and sincerely hope you will enjoy viewing it and leave inspired. I’ve read all my life that the most successful people in the world are the ones who turn their passions into a business, and that’s what I’ve done. With American Flight Visions I get to combine my love for aviation through the following creative disciplines: photography, model airplane building, history, art, writing and digital imaging into one setting. I think the airplane is one of man’s most fascinating and beautiful creations and I love to capture it in as many ways possible. My mission is to create the most beautiful aviation images possible, along with providing a service to anyone who would like a unique picture of their airplane, be it a 1/144 scale B-47 model or a full scale P-51. It matters not what size it is, the only thing that matters is does the image capture the beauty and lines of that particular aircraft.

Another goal of American Flight Visions is to inspire fellow modelers to create more. When I see what magic other modelers, photographers an artist have created, I get inspired. It is my hope that the gallery’s for plastic, RC, and full scale aircraft will inspire you to do more of what turns you on, and then share your work with the rest of us.
